Dr. Avenesh Gopal, Resident Physician at He Medical Clinic, holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from AIMST University, Semeling, Kedah, graduating in 2018. He completed his two-year housemanship at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM, where he gained valuable experience across multiple subspecialties. In 2022, he began his compulsory service as a Medical Officer, starting with a brief posting in the Emergency and Trauma Department at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban, before spending two enriching years in the General Surgery Department at Hospital Port Dickson. During this time, he developed a keen interest and hands-on experience in managing paediatric surgical, urological, hepatobiliary, and colorectal cases.

In 2024, Dr. Avenesh was transferred to the General Surgery Department at Hospital Shah Alam, where he further honed his surgical skills. He became proficient in procedures such as incision and drainage, wound debridement, excisional biopsy, saucerization, circumcision, appendicectomy, and cystoscopy, and also gained exposure to laparoscopic surgeries. His time in surgery sparked a growing passion for andrology and men’s health, particularly through his involvement in managing erectile dysfunction and prostate-related cases. Driven by his passion, he obtained a professional Certificate in Men’s Health from Singapore in 2023. He is a member of International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) as well. He also experienced in performing male sexual organ ultrasonography. In addition to that, he obtained a certficate in Prostate Diseases and Erectile Dysfunction from Harvard Medical School. Currently, he is pursuing further studies in Masters in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine. Dr Avenesh is committed to raise awareness on men’s sexual health and keep striving to provide a professional, comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care in this vital area
